Experience the Method in Practice
PolyTantric means “many weaves,” reflecting the interconnected desires, emotions, beliefs, conditioning, and relationships that shape how we experience ourselves and the world. These threads continually influence one another, which is why our work at The Studio X explores them together.
Through guided coaching and experiential practice, you are invited to explore what you truly want, understand your emotions and tendencies, and bring awareness to what may be limiting your expression and connection.
The philosophy behind this work is shared in The PolyTantric Method: Core Philosophy. The book offers a foundation for understanding the practice, while sessions bring the teachings into your own experience through reflection, embodiment, and authentic relationship.
Through this process, you have opportunities to:
-
Recognize emotions and conditioned tendencies that influence how you experience yourself and others.
-
Practice honest communication rooted in Truth, Love, and Choice.
-
Explore your desires, boundaries, and capacity for intimacy.
-
Develop an embodied pleasure practice that supports balance, vitality, and fuller expression in your relationships and daily life.
The Core Principles: Truth, Love, and Choice
Truth, Love, and Choice may sound simple, yet living them is an ongoing practice of personal empowerment. Recognizing and expressing your truth, meeting yourself and others with love, and choosing with greater awareness are at the heart of our work, within sessions and in the relationships you cultivate beyond them.
Truth: Bring awareness to what you feel, desire, and believe. Practice expressing what is true for you while remaining open to what you have yet to understand.
Love: Meet yourself and others with compassion and care. Make space for vulnerability, differences, and the emotions that arise through connection.
Choice: Recognize where conditioning, expectations, or emotions may be influencing your decisions. Explore what you want to choose while honoring your boundaries and the autonomy of others.
Together, these principles support a practice of honest expression, caring connection, and choices that reflect what matters to you.
What Does a Session Look Like?
Your session depends on what you want to explore. The Studio X offers several ways to experience the practice, with your intentions, comfort, and boundaries guiding the process.
PolyTantric Embodiment
A PolyTantric Embodiment session begins with a conversation about what is alive for you and what you want to explore. Together with your practitioner, you clarify an intention before moving into guided self-inquiry, breathing, movement, embodiment, or relational practice.
The practice may include opening to erotic energy and exploring its circulation through the body, followed by returning attention to yourself to feel, process emotions, and reflect on what arose.
You might explore expressing a desire, asking for what you need, receiving attention, or staying present with an emotion. The session closes with reflection on what you discovered and how to bring it into your personal practice and daily life.
Tantric Massage
A dedicated Tantric Massage session can be an entry point into the work, offering space to slow down, receive conscious touch, and connect with your body.
Pleasure Practice
A Pleasure Practice session offers guided self-pleasure and an exploration of opening to more erotic energy. With your practitioner’s support, you explore sensation, breath, and the feelings that arise as you connect with your pleasure.
The intention is to support balance, vitality, and fuller expression that extends into your relationships and life. Your boundaries and choices guide the experience throughout.
The PolyTantric Process: Why Multiple Coaches?
Your journey begins by building a connection with one primary coach, someone you feel comfortable exploring with. As the practice deepens, working with additional coaches is optional but recommended as a way to bring different perspectives and relational experiences into your exploration.
Each connection can reveal something different. You may feel confident with one person and hesitant with another, comfortable receiving attention yet challenged when expressing a desire. These experiences offer opportunities to recognize emotions and tendencies that may also arise in your relationships beyond sessions.
The Value of Same-Gender Reflections
Working with a practitioner of your own gender can offer space to explore experiences of comparison, competition, approval, trust, vulnerability, or closeness. These connections may reveal beliefs and expectations about who you should be, how you express yourself, and how you relate to others of the same gender.
Through an intentional connection, you can explore what arises, return attention to yourself, and reflect on the emotions and tendencies shaping your experience.
This does not require attraction or physical intimacy. Your intentions, comfort, and boundaries guide the exploration.
Our coaches work together to support your personal practice, helping you bring what you discover through each connection into greater awareness and fuller expression in your life.
For those seeking ongoing support, the personalized 13-week Desire Blueprint Journey offers a guided exploration with The Studio X coaches. Your desires and what emerges along the way shape the development of your personal practice.
